Journal of Contemporary Economic Dynamics

About the Journal

Journal of Contemporary Economic Dynamics (JCED) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published by SM Institute (located in Dinar Elok, Indonesia). The journal is dedicated to providing an intellectual platform for scholars, researchers, academics, practitioners, and policymakers to publish cutting-edge theoretical, empirical, and applied research addressing dynamic issues in contemporary economics and business. The journal accepts and publishes manuscripts in both English and Indonesian.

JCED spans a broad yet focused spectrum of economic disciplines, including accounting, economics, Islamic economics and finance, management, and other related interdisciplinary fields. To ensure that every published article offers meaningful contributions and novelty (novelty), JCED strictly enforces a rigorous Double-Blind Peer Review process. In this mechanism, the identities of both the authors and the independent reviewers remain strictly concealed throughout the editorial and review phases, safeguarding objective, fair, and unbiased critical evaluation.

Committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity, JCED fully aligns its editorial workflows, author guidelines, and ethical policies with the accreditation benchmarks set by the Science and Technology Index (SINTA) and the Core Practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All submitted manuscripts are subjected to mandatory plagiarism screening prior to review to prevent academic misconduct, data fabrication, and duplicate submissions.

JCED is published regularly twice a year (biannually / 2 issues per year). As an open-access journal, it provides immediate and unrestricted access to all published content under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license, fostering the global exchange of knowledge and scientific innovation.
